Pawprints Lodge is a comfortable 2-bedroom lodge located in the small, family-run holiday complex of Notter Mill Country Park.
It is the perfect place to stay for your long or short holiday break, with access to free fast WiFi.
There are two car parking spaces, laundry facilities, and a fully equipped kitchen. The open-plan dining area has a table to seat six. The living room, with its pitched ceiling, has two comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed), a reading area, and a log burner. At the grassy rear of the property, there is a picnic bench and a charcoal BBQ. An enclosed south-facing patio has an outdoor dining table, two sun loungers, and a covered gazebo with low-level seating and a coffee table.
The two bedrooms are separated by a modern shower room and separate toilet. The twin room can easily be rearranged to sleep three, and the master bedroom can accommodate a travel cot if required (please bring your own cot bedding).
Check-in is from 2 pm (earlier by arrangement) and check-out is by 11 am when you book directly.
Onsite, there is a heated outdoor pool and a recreational field complete with tennis courts and free loan equipment. The River Lynher runs through the site and is perfect, but cold, for paddling in.
We welcome your doggy family members (a maximum of two) and provide dog bowls, treats, towels, and throws for the furniture.
If you are visiting HMS Raleigh, Torpoint, for a Royal Navy passing out parade or other celebration, we are perfectly situated for your stay. A relaxing train journey from Saltash to St Ives and Carbis Bay is a great way to explore Cornwall further without having to drive and find car parking spaces.

- Review from...: Airbnb... Lovely lodge with excellent facilities and in a fantastic location. It was great to be able to take the dogs and they were welcome everywhere. The pool is a great addition to this little park, the kids loved it! This really felt like a home from home and I would recommend any to stay here. Shirley August 2023
Handy Info
- Pub: A short stroll down the lane takes you to our favourite food, family and dog friendly pub, The Notter Bridge Inn. I highly recommend booking in advance for your Sunday Lunch.
- Shops: The nearest shops are in Saltash (7/8 minutes by car) but Landrake (3 minutes by car) also has a general store. Further afield there is Plymouth and Truro (both about a 20 minute drive).
- Cancellation Policy: If the booking is cancelled less than 42 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 42 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 20% of the stay will be made.
- Additional Fees: No additional fees
- Places of interest: Looe (about 25 minutes drive) is great for an old fashioned beach resort and fish and chips or ice cream but Seaton (20 minute drive) has (in my opinion) a better dog friendly beach and the option of a riverside walk. A visit to the moors - The Minions, Cheesewring and Colliford Lake (the largest reservoir in Cornwall) are recommended as is a visit to The Eden Project. Older children will enjoy Adrenalin Quarry. Truro, the only city in Cornwall, is a lovely place for a stroll full of independent shops. Other places can be found on https://www.visitCornwall.com and are listed on our website.
