Hi and welcome to Hillside! This inviting 3-bedroom chalet bungalow with a rural outlook is newly refurbished and spacious, with a good sized private garden and parking space for two standard sized cars.
Most of the house has newly sanded wooden flooring, creating a warm and relaxed mood. Downstairs you will find a bedroom with a king sized bed and sink unit. There is a separate downstairs bathroom with level access shower, plus an additional cloakroom. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. As yet, there is no upstairs bathroom but we have plans to change this in the future. Because there is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, Hillside is accessible for two guests with reduced mobility, though there are no mobility aids in place. Hillside can theoretically house six, however, I would suggest five is probably a more comfortable amount for a group of adults.
Children and well behaved pets are by prior arrangement and as long as parents/owners are happy to take responsibility for their safety and bring their own equipment as the house is not specifically set up for their needs.
At the back of the house is a field with which previously housed an Anglo Saxon castle. Hillside is thought to have been built on land that had fish ponds, which served the castle. Today, you are more likely to find sheep in there.

Ewyas Harold is a thriving village that is blessed to have two popular pubs, a convenience store and Post Office, a chip shop, butchers and GP surgery.

As we have a keysafe entry system, you are free to arrive any time after 15:00 on the date of booking. We may be able to accommodate a later check out time during quieter periods, so please feel free to ask!
Hillside is only to be booked as holiday or work accommodation. It is not to be used for any other reason unless by prior agreement with the owner. Guests will be expected to treat the property with care, and respect the privacy and wellbeing of neighbours and surrounding farmland and animals.

Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made in writing and addressed to:

In the event of a cancellation, we will attempt to re-let the property and if successful, a discretionary payment may be made. However, we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
