Sea View Hillside Villa - a stunning 2-bedroom villa in Looe
Newly renovated brick and cedar clad, Mediterranean style villa approx 150 metres from a sandy beach and set into the wooded slopes of Millendreath, a picturesque Cornish Valley. Stunning sea views and opposite hillside. Coast path walks. Dogs welcome free of charge. Up to 3 dogs.
A very mild climate through to winter, offering from 3 night breaks out of summer season. Comfortable modern living with lounge and modern kitchen. 2 compact double bedrooms, both with double beds, wardrobe and drawers (Bed linen hire an optional £25 per double bed set extra. Please ask if required). We provide quilts and pillows.
An open kitchen at the back of the property. Lounge with sea and country views. Under floor heating for cooler weather and an air exchange unit providing constant clean air into the property, (Ideal for asthma and hay fever sufferers and purifying air from pet odours). 43” 4K HD smart TV with built in freesat. Fully double glazed. Although it has 2 bedrooms, the villa is compact and ideally, it is best suited to couples. There are 63 steps up to the property, please take this into account before booking. Thank you.
Parking is in the private car park in the valley approx 100 metres away after unloading at foot of villa steps. There is a pay and display meter, charging £20 for a weeks stay. Parking in the site car park is charged at £20 for up to 1 weeks stay. Payable on-site. 30 minutes grace is allowed for each visit by car below the steps.
Beach cafe bar is usually open 7 days a week. It is dog friendly. Please note, there is no shop on site.

- Review from...: Holiday Lettings: Fantastic stay First of all I wanted to say, if you are hesitating to book a break away in these stunning Villa's please stop and book your break ASAP !! I have followed the Facebook page for these Villa's for a long time and finally stopped hesitating and booked (fairly last minute for me!!) a week in No 66 for Easter. Yes there are a lot of steps to get to the property however the views are stunning and well worth the steps (classed it as holiday cardio!! lol). The beach and woodland walks were right on our doorstop which our dog and children adored. The flat is very clean and well maintained, in particular we loved the small touches e.g. dog blankets, bowls, crate, board games, binoculars. We followed the coast line to Looe from the Villa - be aware its hilly so avoid lots of layers as its hard work. Looe itself was a real delight with top quality bakeries, pubs and shops. Plus a little arcade which our kids enjoyed (and dog friendly!!). We also visited the Eden Project which was around 45 mins away (dog friendly), Polperro, Fowey via the car ferry (highlight for the kids!). Highly recommend the fish and chips takeaway / restaurant near the Villa called The Coddy Shack (they have website and on road from Looe town to Villa) - I personally thought they were the best I had tasted and so unbelievably fresh (so expect a little waiting time) The level of customer care from Karen in relation to response time, helpful information and general kindness far exceeded anywhere I have previously booked and I wouldn't hesitate to book to stay here again. - Cancellation Policy: If the booking is cancelled 30 days or more before arrival then a charge equal to 20% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no show, the full cost of the booking is charged. I will attempt to rebook the holiday. If successful, I will refund a further amount to you, less admin and advertising costs and time.
- Additional Fees: Bed linen is optional. We supply double quilts and 4 pillows per bed for you to bring your own linen. Alternatively, my cleaner can make up beds for £25 each. The money goes directly to her for laundering.
- Places of interest: If you want hustle and bustle, Millendreath may not be for you, however Looe is a hilly 1 mile walk away and has many shops and numerous restaurants. There are coastal paths, countryside and woodland walks from the valley, ideal for dog walkers and ramblers. Plaidy beach is a five minute walk from the villa and is dog friendly all year. Dogs are only allowed on 'our' beach before 9am and after 6pm, (May to Oct) No restrictions 1st Oct to 31st April) Millendreath beach is small when the tide is in, there is seasonal kayak, paddle board, sun lounger hire and also has a jetty from which to fish or enclosed bathing at high tide.
