Winner’s Choice Prize Draw – Entrant Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter The prize draw is promoted by Amori Travel.
2. Eligibility Entry is open to anyone aged 18 and over. By entering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The prize contribution of up to £500 covers the cost of the holiday stay only. No other costs are included, such as travel, fuel, meals, activities, or any other expenses incurred in connection with the prize.
3. The Prize The prize is a contribution of up to £500 towards a holiday stay at a property of the winner’s choice, to be selected from properties marked as ‘Winner’s Choice’ on www.amoritravel.com. Alternatively, the winner may choose to accept a cash payment of £300 in place of the holiday, which will be paid as soon as possible after the draw has closed, and after funds from ticket sales have been received from Raffall.com. The winner may change their choice at any time provided a property booking has not yet been made, subject to the 12 month booking time limit if switching to the holiday option. Once a booking has been confirmed, the choice is final and cannot be changed. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees not to make any false or defamatory statements about Amori Travel. This does not affect the winner’s right to provide honest reviews or opinions.
4. Choosing Your Property The winner may choose any available property listed in the Winner’s Choice programme at the time of booking. All properties are independently owned and operated. Availability is subject to the owner’s own booking calendar and terms. It is strongly advised that the winner reads the property’s terms and conditions in full before making a booking, in particular the cancellation policy, and also takes out appropriate travel insurance to cover any adverse events that may arise in connection with the holiday.
5. Booking Your Holiday Once a property has been chosen, Amori Travel will liaise with the property owner advising them of the winner’s details. The winner will then receive instructions from the owner on the booking procedure. The accommodation contract is between the winner and the property owner. The owner’s own booking terms, conditions, and cancellation policy will apply to the booking. Amori Travel will pay up to £500 directly to the owner. If the total booking cost is £500 or under, Amori Travel will cover the full cost of the stay. If the total booking cost exceeds £500, the winner is responsible for paying the difference directly to the owner. The winner may be required to provide valid photographic identification to the property owner before a booking can be confirmed.
6. Winner Must Travel The prize is personal to the winner and is non-transferable. The winner must be one of the party staying at the property. The prize cannot be passed to, or used by, another person in the winner’s place.
7. Amori Travel’s Role Amori Travel’s role is limited to funding the prize contribution and introducing the winner to their chosen property owner. Amori Travel does not provide, organise, or supply the accommodation and is not responsible for the property, its condition, or the delivery of the stay. Any issues arising during or after the stay must be raised directly with the property owner.
Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
For the avoidance of doubt, Amori Travel is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the winner’s travel to the property, or from any activities undertaken during the holiday.
Amori Travel is not the accommodation provider and accepts no responsibility for the condition, safety, or delivery of the accommodation, which remains the sole responsibility of the property owner or operator.
8. Redemption Period The winner must make their booking and commence the holiday within 12 months of being confirmed as the winner. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
9. Cancellations Once a booking has been confirmed, the property owner’s standard cancellation policy applies. If the winner cancels after the owner’s cancellation window has closed, the prize contribution is forfeited in its entirety and no cash alternative will be offered. Amori Travel cannot intervene in or override the property owner’s cancellation policy.
10. If Your Chosen Property Becomes Unavailable In the unlikely event that a chosen property becomes unavailable or is withdrawn from the Winner’s Choice programme, the winner will be offered alternative property choices from the programme. If the winner decides not to book a holiday at any of the alternative choices, a cash payment of £300 will be offered as full and final settlement of the prize. Amori Travel reserves the right to add, remove, or substitute properties within the Winner’s Choice programme if necessary, for example where a property becomes unavailable, is withdrawn by the owner, or is no longer suitable to be offered. This does not affect the winner’s rights under Section 10 if their chosen property becomes unavailable.
11. Closure of the Programme In the event that Amori Travel ceases trading or closes the Winner’s Choice programme before the winner’s holiday has taken place, Amori Travel will pay the winner £500 in cash as full and final settlement of the prize obligation.
12. Limitation of Liability Amori Travel is not in a position to personally vet or inspect every property listed in the Winner’s Choice programme and advertises all properties in good faith, based on information provided by the property owners. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amori Travel’s liability in connection with this prize draw is limited to the value of the prize contribution. Amori Travel accepts no liability for any loss, disappointment, or inconvenience arising from the actions or omissions of a property owner, or from any inaccuracy in the information provided about a property.
13. Use of your DatA Amori Travel will use your contact details solely to administer the prize, and will not share them with third parties other than the property owner for booking purposes. By entering this draw, the winner agrees that their full name and general location (e.g. town/county) may be published on the Amori Travel website, social media channels and in the At Leisure magazine for promotional purposes. No other personal information will be shared. If you do not wish to be identified, please notify us at the time of receiving your prize.
14. RAFFALL.COM By entering this prize competition, all entrants acknowledge and agree that the competition is hosted via Raffall, and is therefore subject to the terms and conditions of Raffall. By completing an entry, entrants also agree to be bound by Raffall’s Terms of Service, which can be viewed at: https://raffall.com/en/terms.
15. FREE POSTAL ENTRY Free postal entry is available in accordance with Raffall’s Terms of Service.
