The beautifully appointed Primrose Cottage offers a relaxing retreat with stunning views down the center of the village along with sea glimpses. This gorgeous 3-bedroom cottage is situated in the center of Beer village where independent shops, pubs and delicious eateries can be found. A pretty yellow door welcomes you into this lovingly renovated Grade 2 listed cottage which has been furnished in a romantic style.

There is a cosy lounge to relax in with a cute feature fireplace, along with a Smart TV and delightfully comfy sofas to unwind after a day out exploring your wonderful surroundings.

Walk through to the new well-equipped kitchen, the perfect place to socialise and cook meals together. There is also a separate laundry room offering more storage space and an additional fridge freezer.

The separate dining room is perfect to congregate for those special moments.

Upstairs you will find two double rooms, both with stunning vintage French beds, but with the modern convenience of USB sockets. The single room next to them, also has a pretty vintage French bed.

The family bathroom has been beautifully designed for a 'zen' space with a large walk in shower to refresh after your explorations.

Outside this quirky little cottage is your own sunny, tiered garden with outdoor seating to enjoy family meals or simply unwind and plan your following day in this beautiful coastal village.

Surrounded by stunning countryside walks, our dog-friendly cottage features a fenced backyard ideal for outside play. To ensure your pet's comfort, we offer a supply of pet towels, blankets, and necessities, along with a few treats. Your dogs are very welcome, but please be aware that we prefer no more than 3 dogs per stay. If this is a problem, please don't hesitate to speak to us prior to your stay. There is a fee of £10 per pet per stay.

The house and garden are fully at your disposal during your stay. Please note that, as with all the old cottages in this area, there is a right of way to the back of the property. The neighbours to the left have access through the back of the property for putting out their bins (although they have never used this access themselves in the years I have owned the property), just as you have access over the neighboring two properties for putting out the bins and additional access onto the square (ideal for push bikes etc) rather than taking them through the cottage.
Other things to note
The property is designated as a smoke-free environment. This policy encompasses all forms of tobacco, vaping products, and e-cigarettes. It is applicable to both the house, driveway and garden. We also ask that you refrain from using open-flame candles or BBQs, in both indoor and outdoor areas of the property. Thank you for your understanding

We have a fabulous gardener called Sara, who pops over to Primrose Cottage usually on a Wednesday to maintain the garden for us.  She’s very quiet and unobtrusive but I’m sure she would appreciate a friendly hello.

We provide a selection of short-term essential items for your convenience upon arrival. This includes a handful of individually packaged teabags, coffee, long-life milk, and hot chocolate (during the cooler months only). Additionally, we supply one toilet roll per toilet, a small kitchen roll, three dishwasher tablets, hand soap, and dish soap. These provisions are intended to support you upon arrival, allowing time to unpack and settle into the property. Please note that we also have a coffee maker and Tassimo machine available for your use, so please bring the necessary supplies as they will not be provided.
